Making Grace Church Your Home
We welcome you to settle in and make Grace Church of Alexandria your church home. Ours is a growing and tight-knit church family where you can make meaningful relationships. You're invited to get plugged in, benefit from, and contribute to God's work here.

We encourage all attenders to consider joining our church as a member. Membership enables a church family to encourage, teach, and spiritually watch over one another, and it's a gateway to getting further involved in church life.

Here's how to join the church:

1) Attend Inside Grace, an introduction to Grace Church.
This is a one-time class where you'll meet our church's leadership, learn what our church offers, and hear our church's story, doctrine, and vision. The seminar usually takes place on a Sunday afternoon with a catered lunch and childcare. You're then qualified (but not obligated) to schedule a membership interview. 

2) Schedule a Membership Interview.
Once you've attended the seminar, you'll fill out a membership application (.pdf) and read through the statement of faith, church constitution, and church covenant. You'll meet with an elder and deacon to recount how you became a Christian and ask any questions you may have about our church.

3) Be Admitted at a Members' Meeting.
At our Members' Meetings, the elders recommend qualified applicants for membership, and the congregation accepts them into membership. Through this, the church family affirms their committment to loving and caring for you, and you for them.
