Getting Started Reading the Bible
Most of us could use a reminder that a treasurehouse of wisdom and joy awaits us if we invest in reading the Bible every day. The MiniZine Reading the Bible by Matthias Media will re-ignite your commitment to meditating on Scripture every day and is loaded with practical tips for getting the most out of your Bible reading. It approaches this spiritual discipline by motivating and equipping you for Bible reading rather than beating you over the head for falling short.

What’s a MiniZine?
Reading the Bible isn’t really a booklet, a leaflet, or a full-size magazine either. It’s a “MiniZine,” a short collection of articles with great visuals and a study guide to help Christians in their walk with God.

What’s Inside?
This MiniZine has four brief, compelling articles:

  • “The Gospel and the Quiet Time”
  • “Why the Bible is Like A Newspaper”
  • “The Swedish Method”
  • “Discussion Guide”

It’s a great tool to read on your own, with your spouse, or a Christian friend. It’s $1.50 for a digital download of the .pdf, or you can order the MiniZine in print format.

Looks like a good resource! Did you write this? On a humorous note, if you look at it a certain way, it appears that the girl is hovering over her couch (perhaps with excitement over all the amazing things she is learning from her Bible.) ;)

  2. Jonathan Matías Says:

Debbie, yes, I (Jonathan) did write it. Yeah, it’s been really helpful for me!
