Y’all have been asking what church planting looks like on a day-to-day basis. So I’m going to start blogging regularly to clue you in on what our team has been up to. Hopefully you’ll see how a new local church takes shape…how Christ builds his church! Thanks, Judah V for pressing me to blog more!

A Team Effort

First and foremost, church planting is about God using a group of people to display the Gospel through their lives. Christy and I are here to spearhead the effort. Yet we’ve got over a dozen brothers & sisters who have joined us in Alexandria & DC. When Paul established new churches, he was accompanied by a faithful team including Aquilla & Priscilla, Dr.Luke, Titus, Timothy, Epaphroditus, and company.

How To Pray

Pray for our team members to be consistent in living out the Christian life, always repentant before non-Christians, and displaying love like Christ’s. Numerous people in Alexandria have commented how amazed they are by our tight-knit church body and how our team members love serving each other. It’s living like that which will show the world our Christ is alive and at work in our lives.”
